Kinesiologists are human movement specialists who use evidence-based mobility and strength exercises to safely recover your range of motion and strength as fast as possible. Due to extensive training in clinical exercise physiology and health promotion, Kinesiologists can conduct Functional Capacity Evaluations and provide active rehabilitation for injuries, pre and post-operative rehabilitation for all joints, hydrotherapy, exercise therapy for chronic disease management and mental health support, and both workplace ergonomic and nutrition education. Having well over half a decade of experience working with seniors on fall prevention in Kamloops, our Kinesiologist enjoys helping older adults to improve their strength and balance -- so they can age well and stay independent longer.

During an initial consultation, our Kinesiologist will take you through a series of tests that will reveal what muscular imbalances may be contributing to your pain. If applicable, you will learn evidence-based pain management techniques in addition to some new exercises. Patients can choose from a 1 hour or 1.5 hour initial appointment.

*Our Kinesiologist is a member in good standing with the BC Association of Kinesiologists. Please check your extended benefits to determine if you have coverage for Kinesiology services prior to booking. Although some plans cover Kinesiology and many are willing to add Kinesiology to your plan upon request, not all insurance plans cover Kinesiology. Also: If you were involved in a motor vehicle accident & have a valid ICBC claim, we can direct bill to ICBC.*
